Duplicate an Edition to Reuse Content
Duplicating creates an independent copy of an existing Edition so you can reuse its layout, branding, and content blocks as a starting point — without rebuilding from scratch or altering the original. This is ideal for recurring newsletters, templated announcements, or A/B variations.
Before you begin
- Locate the source Edition in its Folder (Project Folder). You can duplicate a draft or a previously sent Broadcast.
- Confirm you have permission to create new Editions in the target Folder.
- Decide where the copy should live — you can keep it in the same Folder or move it afterward.
Steps
- Open the Folder containing the Edition you want to reuse.
- Select the Edition, then choose the duplicate (copy) action from its menu. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
- Give the copy a clear, distinct name so it is easy to tell apart from the original.
- Open the new copy and update the content that must change — subject line, dated references, personalization tokens, and any links.
- Review the copy in preview to confirm images, blocks, and merge fields render as expected.
Result
A new, independent Edition appears in your Folder. Edits to the copy do not affect the source, and the copy is not scheduled or sent until you explicitly send it as a Broadcast.
