Add and Arrange Content Items

Add articles and content blocks to an Edition and reorder them into the flow you want.

Before you begin

  • An Edition open in the editor. If you don't have one yet, create it in your Project Folder first.
  • A rough idea of the sections you want (for example: a header, a lead article, one or two secondary articles, and a footer).
  • Any images, links, or copy you plan to drop in, so you're not hunting for assets mid-build.

Steps

  1. Open the Edition you want to work on from its Folder.
  2. Add a content item from the editor's insert or add-content control, then choose the type you need (article, text block, image, button, divider, and so on). (Confirm the exact control and item types in your account.)
  3. Fill in the item: type or paste your copy, add images, and set links. Use personalization tokens where you want each subscriber to see their own details.
  4. Add the rest of your items the same way until every section of the Edition is present.
  5. Reorder items by dragging each one into place, or use the move up / move down controls if you prefer not to drag. (Confirm the exact reorder gesture in your account.)
  6. Remove anything you don't need with the item's delete control, and duplicate an item when you want to reuse its formatting.
  7. Preview the Edition to see the items in their final order, then save.

Result

Your Edition shows every content item in the sequence you set, top to bottom. The preview matches what a subscriber will receive, and your changes are saved and ready for the next step (personalization, testing, or scheduling the Broadcast).
