Find your top pages, posts, and videos
Identify the most-viewed content and outbound links on a site to see what resonates with your subscribers, then double down on what works.
Before you begin
- A published site (microsite or landing page) that has received traffic. Brand-new content needs a few days of visits before rankings are meaningful.
- Access to the reports area for that site, with the right permissions to view analytics.
- A date range in mind — for example the week after a Broadcast that linked to the site.
- If you want to compare content across several sites, note which sites belong to the same campaign so you can review them together.
Steps
- Open the site you want to analyze and go to its reporting or analytics view. (Confirm the exact menu path in your account.)
- Set the date range to the period you care about, such as since your last Broadcast went out.
- Open the content or page-level report. This lists individual pages, posts, and videos with their view or engagement counts.
- Sort the list by views (highest first) to surface your top-performing content.
- Switch to the outbound-links or click report to see which links subscribers followed after landing — this shows what they wanted to do next.
- For videos, check play and completion counts to tell "clicked" apart from "actually watched."
- Export or note the top items so you can compare them against the next period.
Result
You have a ranked view of your most-viewed pages, posts, and videos, plus the outbound links that drew the most clicks. Use it to promote winning content, retire what nobody opens, and plan the next Edition around the topics that resonate.
