Manage site settings and access
Every microsite has a settings area where you control how it is named, where it lives, who can reach it, and who on your team can edit it. Update these details whenever you rename a campaign, move to a production URL, or open (or lock down) access.
Before you begin
- You need edit rights on the site you want to change.
- Decide the site's final name and URL before you go live — changing the URL later can break links already shared with subscribers.
- Know whether the site should be public, unlisted, or restricted to authenticated visitors.
- Have any custom domain details ready if you plan to move off the default address (confirm the exact steps in your account).
Steps
- Open your list of sites and select the site you want to manage.
- Go to the site's Settings area.
- Update the name so it is easy to recognize in your site list (this is usually internal and not shown to subscribers).
- Set the URL or slug. Keep it short and stable; if the site is already live, plan for a redirect before changing it.
- Choose the visibility: public (anyone with the link), unlisted, or restricted to signed-in visitors.
- Adjust general settings such as language, time zone, and default landing page as needed.
- Under access, add or remove the team members who can view or edit the site, and set their permission level (confirm the exact roles available in your account).
- Save your changes.
Result
The site reflects the new name, URL, and visibility, and only the people you granted access can edit it. Open the live URL in a private browser window to confirm the address resolves and the correct visibility rules apply.
