Add a sign-up form to a site
Place a form on your site to capture subscribers and leads. A sign-up form lets visitors opt in to your communications, and the details they submit flow straight into your audience so you can start sending relevant Editions.
Before you begin
- A published or draft site (microsite) where the form will live.
- The audience or list you want new subscribers added to.
- The fields you want to collect (at minimum, an email address; add name, company, or interests as needed).
- Access to edit the site — if you don't see edit controls, ask your account admin. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
Steps
- Open the site you want to edit and select the page or section where the form should appear.
- Add a form element from the content or component menu.
- Add the fields you need and mark the email address as required. Keep the form short to improve completion rates.
- Map each field to the matching subscriber attribute so submissions land on the right record.
- Choose the audience or list that new subscribers are added to on submit.
- Set what happens after submit — a thank-you message, a redirect, or a confirmation email.
- Add any required consent text or opt-in checkbox to meet your compliance rules.
- Save and publish the site so the live form is available to visitors.
Result
The form appears on your published site. When a visitor submits it, a subscriber record is created or updated and added to the audience you selected, ready to receive your Broadcasts. Submit a test entry to confirm the record appears and any confirmation step fires.
