Monitor your running automations

Once an automation is live, keep an eye on which subscribers are moving through it, where they are stalling, and how each Broadcast in the flow is performing. This helps you catch problems early and confirm the automation is delivering the results you expected.

Before you begin

  • You need an automation that is already published and active.
  • Give the flow enough time to enroll subscribers — some metrics only appear after the first subscribers reach each step.
  • Confirm you have permission to view automation reporting in your account. (confirm the exact steps in your account)

Steps

  1. Open the automation area and locate the flow you want to monitor. The status label tells you whether it is active, paused, or complete.
  2. Open the automation to see its overview — typically the count of subscribers currently enrolled, how many have completed, and how many have exited.
  3. Review the flow step by step. Look for how many subscribers are waiting at each step or delay, which highlights where people are pooling or dropping off.
  4. Open any Broadcast (Edition) sent by the automation to see its delivery, open, and click metrics, just as you would for a one-time send.
  5. Filter or segment the view by date range or entry point, if available, to compare recent performance against earlier periods. (confirm the exact steps in your account)

Result

You can see, at a glance, which automations are running, how many subscribers are moving through each step, and how the Broadcasts inside them are performing — so you know the flow is healthy or where it needs attention.
