Invite Authors to your account
Invite new Authors by email so they can sign in, build Editions, and collaborate in the right Folders — without sharing a login.
Before you begin
- You need an admin role with permission to manage users. If you can't find the user-management area, ask another admin to grant it.
- Have each person's work email address ready. Invitations are tied to the address you enter.
- Know which Folders and features each Author should reach, and pick the right role or permission group for them.
- If your account uses SSO (for example Microsoft Entra ID), confirm the new Author already exists in your identity provider so their first sign-in succeeds. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
Steps
- Open the account settings and go to the user or team management area.
- Choose the option to add or invite a user, then enter the Author's email address (and name, if prompted).
- Assign a role or permission group that matches what the Author should do — for example, building and sending Broadcasts versus reporting only.
- Grant access to the specific Folders they need. Start narrow; you can widen access later.
- Send the invitation. The Author receives an email with a link to set a password or sign in through SSO.
- Ask the Author to accept the invite and complete first sign-in while the link is still valid. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
Result
The Author appears in your user list as active once they accept. They can sign in, open the Folders you granted, and start working on Editions within their assigned permissions.
